Curt Schilling Autographed Trading Card Collage. 299.99 |
|
Curt Schilling was specifically brought to the Red Sox to win a World Series; there's no other way of describing it. It didn't take long for the 2001 World Series co-MVP to make it happen. In his first season in Boston, Schilling went 21-6, struck out 203 and had a 3.26 ERA in 226 innings. The 21-win season, though, was nothing compared to his performance in Game 6 of the ALCS. A week after the Yankees roughed him up in the opener of the series, Schilling allowed a run on four hits in seven innings, and put Boston one win away from completing the biggest comeback in sports history and one win from their first World Series since 1986. Of course, the Sox won Game 7 of the ALCS and then swept the Cardinals in the World Series for their first title since 1918. Curt Schilling has hand signed the trading card in this Trading Card Collage, which is 16"x22 1/4," and includes an 8x10 photograph with a velvet matting. A Steiner Sports certificate of authenticity is included. |
